Dr. Luiza Portnoff combines advanced surgical skill with a warm, approachable style that puts patients at ease. She believes oral surgery should feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible, and takes time to listen, explain, and tailor every treatment to the individual. Her goal is not only excellent clinical outcomes but also a positive, reassuring experience for every patient who walks through her door.

A summa cum laude graduate of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, Dr. Portnoff completed her residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Her expertise includes general anesthesia, wisdom teeth removal, extractions, dental implants, pathology, bone grafting, and TMJ treatment.

Originally from a small town in Poland surrounded by lakes and forests, Dr. Portnoff grew up in a close-knit community where helping others came naturally. While her roots remain in Poland, she now proudly calls California home, drawn to its diverse landscapes and vibrant communities. Outside of her practice, Dr. Portnoff is passionate about an active, outdoor lifestyle. She enjoys working out, practicing Pilates, and spending time with her daughter. She’s an avid skier and hiker, often seeking out mountain trails, fresh air, and wide-open spaces. Whether on the slopes, walking along a coastal path, or exploring new landscapes, she finds balance and inspiration in nature.
